Girls' Birthday Pictures!

These are my girls' birthday pictures. They turned out beautifully. They were so hyper and Emmy was totally out of control. It was a mess. Sad to say that my monthly shots of Thomas are so much less effort than photographing the big girls. I have to say though, that we had a tough morning, so it was likely the timing and circumstances that led to our crazy pic event. We had Thomas' appt in the morning (we were there when the earthquake struck- good place to be if it was going to be a big one, I figured), and we had to wait so long and we were starving! So I didn't have much faith that these would turn out any good, but I'm happy.

Here are my "BOBO SISTERS". They are very into being "sisters" and "best friends" right now. Everything is "hey sis...", "Sister...", "We're Bobo Sisters, right Emmy?", "Let's hold hands, we're best friends." It's very heartwarming. While they do fight, they really are the best of friends. They both care deeply for each other and forgive each other easily.


Callie's 4 yr old pics! She was so easy to photograph :) The photographer tried to play games with her "Don't smile..." thinking she'd smile, and of course, Callie didn't. She'd just put on a frown. Aside from that, she was all smiles and very cooperative, thank God. For this shot the photographer had her posed one way and Callie started laughing and posed naturally into this:

Emmy, on the other hand, was a pain in the butt. Everything was hysterical to her. She cracked up the entire time. She was making goofy faces, posing crazy. They probably thought I had a nut on my hands. She was wacky! We did capture her though in this photo. She is such a beautiful, happy soul.
Our beautiful big girl- 6 years old! We're having their birthday party after we get back from our trip. Callie will be celebrating her birthday in Illinois and Emmy will have hers here. We'll be bowling near the end of the month in celebration of their birthdays. The girls chose to have another joint party this year, and I certainly won't argue with them about that! The girls are really looking forward to bowling with their friends and family!

Callie is pretty specific about what she wants for her birthday: a big rock; a motorhome, my size; and a key so I can drive it!

Emmy is tough. The only one thing she's said is that she wants binoculars so if she gets lost she can find me. Oh, she does want a swiffer and some Orange Glow. This kid has a thing for cleaning products. I swear she is the next Martha Stewart.

This picture was taken a week ago for my mom's birthday- it's of all her grandbabies. They are so beautiful. This picture was the first one taken and it was PERFECT.
